Burglary Near You - Bronte Old Road

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Bronte Old Road,  this occurred on  Sunday 3rd May between 0250hrs and 0255hrs. The method of attack was by snapping the lock on the side door and gaining entry. Once inside the property a search has been made and a safe removed containing jewellery and cash. A games console was stolen also. They have made off throw the same entry. 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Sunday 3rd May between 0250hrs and 0255hrs, to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
